A garment-supporting web having associated therewith a friction-slide formed from a single piece of material and embodying a central bar and two outer bars arranged parallel therewith, each outer bar having a tabreceivin ofi'set portion of less-length than its bar, an( a tab looped about each offset por tion, the looped portions of the tabs being in frictional contact-with the surface of the web at the points where the web passes over the central bar, whereby to increase the frictional resistance of the web at these points.
