I claim- Y 1. In mechanism. of the class described, the combination With a stationary blade; of meansarranged to ro ess a Web of fabric with respect to sai b ade; a rotary blade havin a cutting edge substantially parallel with t exdirection of travel of the web, ar-

In mechanism of the class described,the combination With a stationary blade; of means arranged to regress a web of fabric with respect to said blade; a rotary blade having a cutting edge extending in the direction of thetraverse of the Web, arranged to rotate in cooperative relation With said stationar blade; and means arranged to actuate sald rotary blade in definite relation to the movement of said web, substantially as set forth. 3. 'In mechanism of the class describechthe combination with a stationary' blade; of means arranged. to progress a Web of'fabric with respect to said blade; a strai ht rotary blade ,having a cutting ed e exten ing in the direction of the traverse ofg said Web, arranged to rotate in coperative an ular relation With said stationary blade, in efinite relation to the traverse of said Web, substantially as set forth.

In mechanism of the class described,the combination with a frame; of'a stationary blade ad -ustably secured to said frame means d to ro ess a web of fabric With res ect to sai bide; a rotary shaft; and a b ade adjustably secured to said shaft having the traverse of said web, and arranged to rotate in cooperative relation with said stationary blade; to shape said fabric, substantially as set forth'.

In mechanism of the class described,the combination with a frame; of a stationary blade adfustably secured to said frame means d to ro ess a Web of fabric with rebilde; and a rotary blade arran ed to coperate With said stationar blade in longitudinal angular relation Witii res ect to the plane of the Web, to shape said we substantlally as set forth.

In mechanism of the class described-,the combination with a frame; of a stationary blade ad'ustably secured to said frame means arrange to regress a web of fabric with respect to sai blade; a rotary shaft; a frame cutting ed extending in the direction of the traverse of the Web, adjustably secured to said frame and arranged to rotate in coperative relation with said stationary blade to shape said web, substantially as set forth.

In mechanism of the class described,the combination With a frame; of a pair of stationary blades adjustably secured to said frame; means arranged to progress a web of fabric With respect to said blades; aV pair of rotary shafts having their axes arran ed substantially parallel to the line of trave of said Web; and a blade carried by'each of said shafts having its cutting edge in longitudinal angular relation to'the plane of said'web, substantially as set forth. v

In mechanism of the class describe'd,the combinationl with a frame; ofapair of stationary blades adjustably secured to said frame; means arranged to progress aweb of fabric with respect to said blades; a pair of rota stantlally parallel to the line of trave of said Web; a rotary frame adjustably secured to each of said shafts; and a blade adjustably secured to each of said rotary frames in longitudinal angular relation to a plane parallel to the axes of said shafts, substantiallyT as set forth.

In mechanism of the class described,the combination with a frame; of a stationary blade adiustably secured to said-frame; means arrange to progress a web of fabric with res ect to said blade; bolts arranged to extend t rough slots in said frame to secure said blades in adjusted position; a rotary frame arranged to rotate on an axis substantially parallel to the line of travel of said web; a rotary blade pivotally securedf intermediate of its length to said rotary frame; and set screws in threaded engagement with said rotary frame arran ed to Iadjust said rotary blade, substantial y as set forth.
10. In an envelop-machine, the combination with a pair of stationary blades; of
means arranged to regress a web of fabric'I With respect to sai blades; of a pair of rotary shafts having their axes arran ed substantially parallel to the line of trave of 4said Web; a b ade carried by each of said shafts in lon itudinal angular relation tov a' plane'paralle to their axes; a guide-roller; a shaft for said roller; and gears arran ed to connect said guide-roller shaft with te blade'-carry' ing shafts, substantiallyas set forth.
