To ALL WHOM 1T MAY CONCERN;

. Be it known that we, ALBERT STRASSER and B. M. LEWY, of Montgomery, in the county of Montgomery, and State of Alabama, have invented a new and improved Stand for Mosquito-ets; and we do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact descriptionV thereof, which will enable those skilled in the art to 'make and use the same, reference being had tothe accompanying drawings forming part ci' this specification.

Y The object of this invention is to provide a simple and convenient adjustable stand for.mosquito-nets.`

It consists of a frame, in the form of a parachute, suspended from the top of an adjustable support, rising up from a stand or table, and susceptible oi'ladjustment either to a vertical or inclined position, on which the mosquitomet is suspended, as will be more fully described on reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein is shown a side elevation of our improvement with a part broken away.

A represents a stand, providedwith a central vertical hollow post, B, wherein a slide, C, is arranged to be supported and adjusted vertically, and provided with a set-screw to hold it in any desired position.

' Near the top of the post or slide C it is provided with a long slot, and a pair oflong braces, D, ar`e then connected to it by a bolt passing through the said slot. v

At the top a link, E, isl connected to itby ajoint, to which link at the other end is similarly joinedan extension., F, for supporting the parachute-frame; i

The braces D arejoined to the link E by a pin, G, and to the extension by a pin, H, passing also through a slot in a manner similar to the connection of the same with the slide C. V

The top of the extension supports the skeleton-frame I, on which the mosquito-net may be spread.

When it is desired t0 suspend a'net overa bed, the standmay be set by the'side ofit, and the link E turned towardfit, so as to suspend the extension F over the centre ofthe same, in doing which it will be perceived that the braces will maintain the said extension in a vertical position.

When the net is to be vremoved from the bed, the link is turned back into a vertical position, and there secured by a pin passing through the holes K in the braces andthe link E.

This operation elevates the net so as to admit it to be readily moved away from the bed.

We claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent- Y l. The stand A., provided with the slide C, braces K, link E, and extension Fconstruoted and arranged as and for the purpose'desoribed. l

2. The combination with the same o f the skeleton-frame I, or other equivalent means for supporting a mosquito-net, substantially as and for the purpose described.
