State of New York, have invented and I declare that the following is a. full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 represents a side sectional view of my separator.
Figure represents top view of the under sieve. v
Figure 3 represents sectional view of the eccentrics on shaft.
Similar letters of reference in the difi'erent figures indicate thesame parts of my invention.
The object of my invention is to produce a shake to the uppcr and lower sieves, by which the grain can be rapidly passed over, without clogging on the sieves.
C represents the upper sieve. D represent under sieve.
nted. represents the bolt or pivot, on which the arm works. arm heel; and forth; H represents a. -:t side motion, at the same time it receives its end motion. I represen "under sieve, which books into a strap from th hoolrl is attached. K represents an oblong work upon a pivot above the eccentric, and nsthe len sequently gives twice the length of sh I v the upper sieve,..to take out the coarser'substance, it re L represents a pin, in the upper end of the arms, upon To enable others skilled in the art of manufacturing and using my invention,-I will describe the same. As I use zinc for quires a muchshorter shake than the under wire sieve. which the upper zinc sieve is-attachcd. What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
1'. The arms E, upon pivots F, operated by eccentric, G, and operating upper and lower sieves, substantially as described.
2. Also the wedge -H on the lower sieve, for the purpose set forth. I
