TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.-
Be it'known., that we, PETER, SWEENEY and JOHN BRAD'BURN, both of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and improved Adjustable Platform for Rock-Drills, &c; and we do hereby declare the following `to'be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, enabling those skilled in the art to malte and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of thi's specication, in which drawing? Figure 1 represents a longitudinalvertical section of this invention. Figure 2 is a transverse section thereof. Similar letters indicate correspondingI parts. v VThis invention relates to a platform for supporting rock-drills and other machines, particularly Awhen such machines are used in submarine'operations. Said platform is provided with a series of adjustable legs, whereby said platform can be adjusted in a level position on uneven or ruggedground, and with said adjustable legs is combinedan adjustable chainwthat serves to brace the legs, and prevents them from,spreading,ifv they are placed on a steep rock. i p
