TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that L'LEVI S. Enos, of Almond, in the county of Allegeny, endin theSta'te of'New York,
have invented certain new and useful Compounds for Metallic Roofing; anddo hereby deeisre that the following is a. full, clear, andexact description thereof.-
The nature of my invention consists in the mixture of the following-named ingredients: Lea d, threefonrths of one pound; block-Lin, one-fourth of one pound 3 antimony, (2) two drachms andthe reby making i compound, which I afterward roll out into sheets of any desired dimensions and thickness for roofing.
The compound, when made of the above ingredients, and rolled into sheets, makes a tenacious, pliable, and non-corrosive material, very desirable for roofing purposes, and may readily he applied to any roof, or be made to conform to any ordinary inequalities.
I do not wish to confine myselfi to any specific proportior is of the shove-named ingredients, as they may be varied so as to make the compound more rigid or pliable, as may be desired.
