ln the manufacture of cast car-wheels heretofore practcedthe work has been divided 3o up ainoiue,` a number of melders, each having a space in the plant allotted to him, and most,l if not all, thewoik done by lianddabor in a slow, expensive, and 'frequently in an unsatisfactory manner, the quality of the work pending upon the skill, judgment, and disposition of the operators.
