To all whom, it may concern.-
and cheapen the construction shown in said prior application and to improve it by providing means for raising the truck-platform very rapidly.

Having described my invention, I claim-' l. The combination with the running-gear, of a truck having vertical guides, Aand a vertically-movable truck-platform having legs vengaging in said guides, of a shaft rotatably mounted upon the running-gear, and eccentrics secured to said shaft for raising the truck-platform, friction-rollers carried by the truckplatform and bearing upon the peripheries of said eccentrics, substantially as land for the purpose specified. p

The combination with therunning-gear of atruck having vertical` guides, and a vertically-movable truck -platform having legs engaging in said guides, of a shaft rotatably mounted upon the running-gear, eccentrics secured to said shaft for raising the truck-platform, a lever'for operating the same, aratchetwheel secured to said shaft, and a pawl pivoted to the running-gear, substantially as and for the purpose specified.
