Having thus described our invention, we claim as new-and desire to secure by Letters Patent-- 1. In a drawing-frame having gearcasings and a belt-shipper, mechanism intermediate the gear-casings and belt-shipper to lock the belt-shipper by the opening of the gear-casings, for the purpose as described.
2. In a drawing-frame having gear-casings and a shipper-bar, a belt-shipper secured to the bar, an inwardly-extending locking-arm on the bar, and a gear-casing provided with a projection to engage with the locking-arm to lock the shipper when the casing is opened, for the purpose as described.
3. In a drawing-frame having gear-casings and a shipper-bar, a belt-shipper on the bar, an upwardlyextending lockingframe socured to the bar, and a gear-casing provided with a projection to engage with the locking frame when the casing is opened to lock the Shipper, for the purpose as described.
4. In a drawing-frame having a gear-casing pivoted to the frame of the machine, a shipper-bar and shipper, and an inwardly-extending locking-arm forming a part of the shipper, said gear-casing having a flange to engage with the locking-arm on the shipper when the casing is opened to lock the shipper, as described.
5. In a drawing-frame, a gear-casing pivoted to a fixed casing, a shipper-bar and shipper, and an upwardly extending lockingframe secured to the shipper-bar, the re being a flange on the pivoted gear-casing to engage with the locking-frame on the shipper-bar when the casing is opened to lock the shipper, as described.
6. In a drawing-frame having fast and loose pulleys, a fixed casing secured to the frame, the gear-casing b pivotally secured to the fixed casing and having the semicircular flange b on its pivot, the gear-casing c pivotally secured to the frame by the bearing 0 and having the semicircular flange c on its pivot, the shipper-bar at having the shipper d with the arm 01 and the locking-arm cl with the L-shaped end 01 to engage with the flange c on the gear-casing c, and the upwardly-extending locking-frame a secured to the shipper-bar d to engage with the flange b on the gear-casing b to lock the belt-shipper with the belt on the loose pulley by the opening of the gear-casings and to unlock the beltshipper when the gear-casings are closed, as described.
