IMPROVED CIRCULAR-SWINGIN G CRADLE AND BABY-WALKER.
T0 ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that l, WALTER M. MESSICK, oi' Louisville, in the county of Jefferson, and State of Kentucky,` have invented a. new and improved Circular-Swing Cradle, Ste. and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part 0f this Specification.
The present invention relates to an improved circular-swing cradle, walker, Btc., by means of which a child placed in a cradle or seated upon a chair can be made to move or swing around in a circular direction, andthe children, in learning to Walk, much aided or assisted. In the accompanying plate of drawings my improved circular swing, &c., is illustrated- Figure l being a. perspective View of the same, and
Figures 2 and 3 detail sectional views.

A, in the drawings, represents a centre post or upright that at each end is arranged to turn in suitable bearings at the ceiling and floor to a room. This post A, near its lower end C, is provided with three arms, D, extending outward therefrom in a. horizontal direction, with two of the arms one above another. To one of these arms, at its outer end, a cradle, E, is secured, and to one of the two others a seat-board, F, with a cushioned round, -G, to the other arm above, in position to form a back,as it were, to the seat-board F.
By the construction of parts above described it is plain to be seen that all the' objects previously stated herein can be secured. By removing the seat-board F the feet rest on the door, and the child, being supported under the arms by the cushioned round G, is prevented from falling in walking.
I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent- A circular-swing cradle dnd walker, constructed substantially as described. WALTER M. MESSICK.
