V l
I To enable others skilled in the art to make and use my invention I will proceed to describe it as follows Figure 1 represents a top view,
Figure 2 a. sectional elevation of the corn-plough. i
A is the lever attached to a roller, E, for the purpose of raising or lowering the rear endso'f the beams G by means of the connecting jointed rods H, to raise or lower the ploughs B. J is a semicircular rim with cogs or notches' for retaining and holding the lever A in its proper place. K K are guides to steady, retain, and
support the ploughheamsG. The movable bar C is operated by the drivers feet. It has a centre lever, L,
connected to adjustable arms M, by which the ploughs are moved to either side.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is The arrangement of the lever A with its rollerE connectedto beams G, and the treadle G as arranged with,
the ploughs B, when combined with the beams Gr, as herein described and for the purposes set forth.
