IMPROVEMENT IN GARRIAGES."
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONGERN:
Beit known that I, CALEB CO'NDERMAN, of Hornellsville, in the county of Steuben, and State of New York, haveinvented a new and useful .Improvement in Carriages; and that the following description, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, hereinafter referred to, forms a full and exa-ct specification of the same, wherein' I have setA forth the natureand principles of my said improvements by which'lrny invention may be distinguished from all others of a similar class, together with such parts as I claim and desire to.h:1ve secured to me by Letters Patent.
The present invention relates to that class of c nrriuges commonly known lzlsopen frame and light buggies, and the invention consists in a novel manner of securing or suspending the body of the buggy toV .the axles bjr and through the means of springs, as will be hereinafter particularly described, reference being had to the accompanying plate of' drawings, in whieh` I I y Figure l is a longitudinal vertical section through the carriage body; and
