Be it known that I, LANGDQN WASHINGTON-- MOORE, of Boston, in the county 'of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Yielding, Slings for Hammocks, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, in which= I Figure 1 is a front elevation of my new sling. sling.
My invention has for its object to provide a simple and cheap sling for a hammock, one

My sling is simple, cheap, and efficient for its purpose, and it gives to the hammock the easy restful swinging motion so much desired.
What I claim is- In a yielding sling for hammocks, an upper member a having an eye I) for the attachment of a tie-rope, and three apertures c, c, c for the attachment of springs, in combination with a lower member e having ahookfat its lower extremity, three apertures g, g, g for the attachment of springs, and interposed springs 01, d, d, all substantially as and for the purpose specified.
