SPECIFICATION- T0 ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Be it known that I, JOHN JnNN, of New Windsor, in the county of Carroll, and State of Maryland, have made fnew. and useful improvements in Tools for Sharpening Sickles of Harvesters, 3D0.; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the nature, construction, and operation of the same sucient to enable one skilled in the art to which `it appertains to construct and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which are made part of this specification, and in which- Fig. 1 is a perspective View of the tool.
Figs. 2 and 3 are cutter plates of different form and angular character.
This tool consists of a handled shank and a set of angular hardened steel cutters of varying marginal outline, and with chamfered or sharpened .edges;. the cutter being adapted for attachment by screws to the head of the shank, the angular bit or plate being adapted to the face of the object from which it is to remove a shaving or ribbon of metal. v
In the drawings, A is the handle, B is the shank, C, C, G, the'bits or platess having sides of varyingangles, 90, 120, and 1350, adapted to enable the corner to reach into openings or betweeny objects whose adjacent sides bare those relative angles.
