D D are the foot-pieces, attached on alternate sides by pins E E, which extend through the posts and foot-pieces of the adjoining panels. Y
The wires F are stretched at suitable inter vals from post to post, and are stayed by eyes in the tie C. The wires should be continued to the top of the fence-posts and above the upper cross-piece, B, as shown in the drawing.
Having fully explained the mode of constructin g my improved fence, what I claim as my invention, and seek to secure by Letters Patent, is-
A fence constructed with a frame, A B C, sustaining the wires F, having the posts A, inserted in the ground or supported upon footpieces D, and attached to one another by pins E, the said several parts being, respectively, constructed, and the whole arranged for use, substantially as set forth.
