ATTACHMENT FOR DRILL-GRINDING MACHINES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 572,944, dated December 15, 1896.
Application filed May 6, 1896. Serial No. 590,456. (No model.)
' To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN H. AGESEN, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at I-Iigganum, in the county of Middlesex and State of Connecticut, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Attachments for Drill-Grinding Machines, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying drawin gs, wherein- Figure 1 is a top View of drill-holder and drill. Fig. 2 is a side view of the same attached to a support. Fig. 3 is a view in vertical cross-section on the plane denoted by a: o: with the drill removed, looking in the di' rection indicated by the arrow. Fig. 4 is a top View of the parts shown in Fig. 3 with the drill removed.
The object of the improvement is the production of a device, mechanism, or apparatus adapted to be an attachment to or a part of a drill-grinding machine. It is specially adapted to hold a drill for grinding the bottom of the flutes at or near the point of a drill.
