The above-described device-will afford considerable amusement, especially to children `while-making a purchase.
Having thus described my invention, I claim asnew and desire-to secure-by Letters Patentl. In a vending device,- a casing having an opening therein, a panoramic slide mounted in the said casin g, removable objects located -at the margin of the said opening, the said removable objects having a connection with the panoramic slide, operating the same when withdrawn, and means, substantially as described, for attaching merchandise to the aforesaid removable objects, as and for the purpose set forth.
2. In a vending-machine, a casing having a simulation of a face thereon and provided with openings representingthe mouth and the eye'- sockets, a slide mounted at the rear of the eyesockets and containing the yrepresentation of eyeballs, .the slide being-spring-controlled, objects representing teeth, removably attachedto the marginal portion of the mouthopening, and a connection between the said teeth and the said slide, the-connection being so ma'de that when an object representing a tooth is-withdrawn the slidewill be operated in a mannerto produce an expression of pain on the representation of the face,.as and for the purpose set forth.
In a Vending idevice, the combination, with a receptacle having a representationof a faceproduc-ed thereon, and provided with openings representing the eye-sockets and an opening representing the open mouth, of objectsrepresenting teeth, removably attached to the marginal portion of the mouth-opening, a spring-controlled slide located at the rear of the eye-sockets and havingthe representation of eyeballs produced thereon, the eyeballs being visible at the lsaid socket-openings, a breakable connection between the objects representing teeth and the said slide,'the connection serving to'operate the slide-when'an object representing a tooth is withdrawn,
merchandise concealed within the said receptacle, and connections, substantially as described, between the various articles of mering, thread connections between the various teeth and the slide, and threads leading from the teeth to the interior of the receptacle, and adapted for attachment to articles of merchandise, as and for the purpose specified.
5. As a new article of manufacture, a vreceptacle formed lwith an opening, separate packages of material contained within the re- -ceptacle and capable of being passed in. and out thereof through the opening-detachable parts carried adjacenttothe opening in the receptacle, and means respectively connecting each package of Amaterialwith a detachable part, substantiallyas described.
- 6. As a new article ofvmanufacture a body portion formed with an opening'therein, a series of removableparts carried bythe main yportion and adjacent to the opening, and separate packages of material respectively connected to the removable parts, substantially as described.
7. As a new article of manufacture a receptacle having a main portion formed with two openings, a-series of-removable parts carried by the main portion and adjacent-to one opening, a slide movable adjacent to'the remaining opening, a series of packages of material, and independentconnections respectively between the removable parts and the packages of material, all of theconnections being attached to the slide, substantially as described.
8. A new article of manufacture consisting of ay receptacle formedl with two openings, a series of detachable parts held adjacent to one opening, a slide movable adjacent tothe second opening, a number of packages of material contained within the receptacle and capable of passing outward through the opening to which the lattachable parts are adjacent,
and independent connections respectively for the detachable parts and the packages of material, the connections being all attached to the slide, substantially as described.
9. A new article of manufacture having a body with an opening, detachable merchandise-carrying devices held adjacent to the opening, a slide carried by the body, and connections between the merchandise-carrying devices and the slide, substantially as described. Y
