JOSEPH B. WARREN, OF DANVEBSPORT, MASSACHUSETTS.
IMPROVED CRADLE, STOOL, AND CHAIR.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 55.101, dated June 5, 1866.
I attached to the rockers g g and connected by a pivot, j, passing through the bottom of the cradle and through the barj, as shown in No. 3. rlhis pivot allows the cradle to be turned on the rockers so that it can be rocked either sidewise or endwise.
No. 2 represents the cradle formed into a chair, with the sides parallel with the rockers.

The cradle when placed at right angles-with the rockers and the various parts in place, as shown in No. 1, comprises a cradle in the common form.
By turning the cradle on the pivotjso asto make it parallel with therockers, as shown in No.2, f beingraised so as to let thefeet into the box l1., d being raised for the back, and A and B B put in places and secured by the button z', forms aconvenientrocking-chair for a child and can easily, when wanted, be again converted into a cradle, and vice versa.
I claimrlhe cradle pivoted at j, with box h in the rocker-frame, and the adjustable portions j, d, A, and B B, as above described, for the purposes herein set forth.
