IMPROVED LINIMENT- Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 55,342, dated June 5,1866.

To all whom it may concern;

Be it known that I, RICHARD M. MoYLE, of South Manchester, county of Hartford, and

v State of Connecticut, have invented or dis covered a new and useful Improvement in Rheumatic Liniment; and to enable others to compound and use the same, I will proceed to describe its component parts, and the mode of compounding and using the same.

The nature of this improvement will be understood from the specification, or, in other words, it will be understood from the nature and character of the ingredients which compose the compound, the object of which is to produce a compound for the cure of lameness thoroughly ten minutes, and in one hou thereafter it will be ready for use. These proportions may be varied with more or less effect, butit is believed that the proportions here set forth will exert the most salutary effect.

In severe cases apply the liniment with the hand or some soft material to the part aii'ected two, three, or more times, as the case may require, in every twenty-four hours until the ailment is removed. In this way the most difficult or stubborn cases may be alleviated by the use of this improved compound. For sores, &c., apply lightly.

- It is believed that inward as well as outward applications for animals will be very beneficial.

I believe I have thus stated its component parts and the mode of application so as to enable others skilled in the art to compound and use the same.

What I claim therefore, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

Australian rheumatic white liniment,composed of ingredients in about the proportions substantially as described.
