SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 542,706, dated July 16, 1895.

Be it known that I, KARL HOEFELMAYR, of Munich, Bavaria, Germany, have invented certain new and usefulImprovements in Pads for WaterOlosets, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a pad adapted to fit the seat of a water-closet, and composed of a set of detachable sheets, so that the surface may be readily renewed.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a closet provided with my improved pad. Fig. 2 is a plan thereof; and Fig. 3, a section on line 3 3, Fig. 2.
The letterA represents the seat of a closet, and c is a pad composed of a set of detachable sheets adapted to be placed upon the seat.
The sheets constituting the pad are formed of paper or textile fabric and may be saturated with an antiseptic or waterproof solution. They are provided with a central opening a,iwhich corresponds to the opening of the seat A.
