I SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 533,866, dated February 12, 1895.

Be it known that I, JAMES WITHERSPOON COOPER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Mayesville, in the countyof Sumter and State of South'Carolina, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Saw OOtlIOIl-GlIlS; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled'in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference beinghad to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part.

The invention consists in making the breast ribs of a cotton gin with ofisetsjand combining therewith two sets of saws arranged one above the other and inparallel planes whereby time and labor may be economized.
