To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHRISTOPHER F. WHIT- NEY, of Newton, in the county of Middlesex.
and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, have invented certain Improvements in Aluminium Alloys, of which the following description is a specification.
My invention consists in alloying aluminium with manganese and tungsten, in proportions of twelve per cent, or less, of each, to seventy-six per cent, or more of aluminium. This alloy is especially well adapted for use in making culinary vessels. I prefer to use no greater amount than twelve per cent, of
