BLIND-STOP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 483,096, dated September 20, 1892. Application filed March 29, 1892- Serlal No. 426,978- (No model.)
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FERDINAND BLAUss, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented what I term a Self-Supporting Adj ustable Blind-Stop, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings and specification.
Figures 1 and 2 show the inside and outside of the shutter. Fig. 3 shows the blind-stop, A being the spring and main body.
X Y give the approximate curve, and G G show the points at the entrance of the recess F turned under, so as not to interfere with the slat 0 when passing the opening at F.
Fig. 1 will show the stop A passed in between the frame B and the end of slat O in such a manner that the recess F, Fig. 3, will straddle the pivot at the end of the slat O.
The legs D D will reach the opposite side when the spring A, with its curve on the end -of slat 0, will force the toes E E down the FERDINAND BLAUSS. Witnesses:
