In the drawings, Figure l is a front view of the cabinet with the molding-board open. Fig. 2 is averticaltransverse section thereof, the board beingolosed in full lines and open in dotted lines.

I11 its upper end the cabinet is divided intocompartments A, the front walls of which incline rearward at Ct toward their lower ends, and such compartments open into bins B, which extend forward in advance of the compartments A and are open at the top in front of such compartments, as shown, the inclined walls a of the compartments A serving to direct the contents of the compartments A to the rear of the bins B, and also affording better access to such bins.

In defining the parts A as compartments and the parts B as bins, the compartments may be said to end and the bins begin on a horizontal line drawn close to the lower edge of the front wall a.

To the outer side of the front. wall a near its lower edge, I hinge one edge of the inside when such board or leaf is lowered it will' bear at its under side upon the ledge O and at its upper side against the under side of the bottom B. This board or leaf D is pivotally jointed at E to the framing at a point in advance of its rear end and swings at such rear end in the space between the ledge O and bottom 13', and is smooth and unobstructed on its upper side at its rearedge, so that when such board or leaf is tilted flour and the like may be scraped off such rear edge into the drawer F, presently described. At the same time the pivotal axis E is so arranged that when the leaf D is closed its rear extension abuts the rear edge of the ledge C, the axis E being preferably arranged above and slightly in rear of the said ledge, as shown.

The drawer F is arranged below the ledge O, and stop devices are provided to limit the rearward movement of such drawer, so that when it is pushed to its innermost position an air passage or space G will be left behind it so that air can freely circulate behind such drawer. Consequently the air is free to circulate from the lower compartment 1-1 up behind the drawer and then freely in front of the bins, thus affording ample ventilation to the flour or other materials in the bins when the inside lidis opened andturned up against the wall a, as before described.

' The door I of the lower compartmentI-I is provided with wire-gauze or the like, so that air can freely circulate into and out of such compartments.

I-Iavingthus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s

1. In a cabinet, substantially as described, the combination of the bins, the ledge C, arranged below and in advance of said bins,

the drawer below the said ledge, and the board orleaf pivotally connected at a point in advance of its rear end and having its portion in rear of its axis arranged to swing in the space between the bins and ledge and having its upper side at its rear edge unobstructed, whereby when the board is. tilted material may be scraped or freely discharged off its said rear edge into said drawer, all substantially as described, and for the purpose set forth.

2. The improved cabinet, substantially as herein described and shown, consisting of the compartments A, having inclined front sides a, the bins B below such compartments A, the ledge 0, arranged in front of and below the bins, the drawer arranged below the ledge and stopped at its rear end short of the back of the case, whereby air can circulate in rear of such drawer, the lower door having wireuetting or the like, and the molding board or leaf made of a thickness equal the distance between the planes of the ledge C and bot tom of bins B, such leaf being pivotally conheated at E in advance of its rear end and arranged when opened to abut the under side of the bin-bottom in rear of its axis and the upper side of the ledge O in advance of such axis and when closed to leave a space or airpassage in front of the bins, all substantially as and for the purpose set forth.

3. In a cabinet, substantially as herein described, the combination of the compartments A, having front side or wall a, the bins B below and extended in front of the compartments A, the inside lid hinged at one edge to the wall a above such forward extensions of the bins and adapted to turn up against said wall in its open position or down to cover the bin 13 in its closed position, and the molding board or leaf arranged below said bins,

all substantially as and for the purposes set forth.
