PAVING-BRICK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 411,010, dated September 17, 1889.
Application filed May 2, 1889. Serial No- 309,332- (No model.)
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HORACE B. CAMP, a
citizen of the United States, residing at Tallmadge, in the county of Summit and State of Ohio, have invented a certain new and useful Paving-Brick and Apparatus for Making the Same, of which the following is a specification.
My invention has relation to improvements in brick which are adapted for pavements; and it has for its object the production of a brick for the purpose aforesaid which shall .have along one side one or more serrated In the accompanying drawing the figure is a perspective view of my improved pavingbrick.
The brick E is made of any desired material and by any, of the known methods of making brick, and has on one of its broader sides serrated ridges e. The ridges e serve to separate the brick and leave a space in which a retaining-cement is poured, and the serratures permit the ready entrance of the cemcut.
I claim- As an improved article of manufacture, a paving-brick having on one side one or more serrated ridges, substantially as shown, and for the purpose specified.
