SEALING DEVICE FOR BOUNDING CONCRETE SECTIONS WHEN MAKING SLIT WALLS BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION DISCUSSION OF PRIOR ART Since this device consists of two steel profiles, it must be recovered after each use, so that the building process is retarded because the sealing device each time can be removed only after the concrete of the lastconcreted section of the slit wall has sufficiently set.
That is why the object of the invention is to solve the problem of constructing the sealing device so that this device need not be recovered prior to concreting the' subsequent portion of the slit wall so that the setting time of the concrete does no longer influence the building process.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION section has not yet set so far as to permit removal of the sealing device as a whole. However, as soon as both adjacent sections of the slit wall are concreted, the steel profile 2 together with the flexible tubes 3 can be removed and used anew.
It is advantageous that the steel profile 2 be slightly bent convexly with regard to the respective side wall in an horizontal sectional view so that the pressure against the side walls of the slit will be primarily concentrated in the center of the profile and a ground fracture of the earth at the slit side walls is avoided. Furthermore, a self-releasing effect of the steel profile 2 at its edges from the earth is obtained as soon as the pressure in the inflatable, flexible tubes is removed. Thus, the withdrawal of the steel profile is considerably facilitated.
Building-in of joint straps is possible in that for example joint straps 5 angularly bent at both sides are screwed on the steel reinforced concrete profile 1. The sealing-off effect is ensured by the pressure against the joint strap and against the surface of the steel reinforced concrete profile between the strap and said surface. In order to apply said pressure uniformly across the entire length, the joint straps are screwed under Starting off from a sealing device for bounding concrete sections when making slit walls, which consists of two vertical steel profiles having plane earthtouching surfaces and adapted to be telescoped transversely of the longitudinal axis of the slit wall and which includes pressing devices built-in within the steel profiles so that the latter can be pressed apart from each other as much as desired toward the side walls of the excavated slit with the aid of said pressing devices, said problem is solved in that the sealing device is composed of a steel reinforced concrete profile and a steel profile wherein the prefabricated steel reinforced concrete profile is adapted to remain within the surrounding building construction and to become a part thereof.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Details of the sealing device according to the inven tion are elucidated in greater detail hereinafter in the light of the attached drawing, showing an horizontal section through a slit wall building area.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ONE EMBODIMENT As is apparent from the drawing, the sealing device consists of the steel reinforced concrete profile l and the steel profile 2. Between both vertical profiles are arranged two inflatable flexible-tubes 3 which also extend vertically and with the aid of which the profiles l and 2 can be pressed apart from each other toward the side walls of the slit 4.
When using this sealing device, the prefabricated steel reinforced concrete member 1 remains in the building construction whereas the steel profile 2 and the flexible tubes 3 firmly connected to the latter are recovered. Their withdrawal is possible also when the sealing device is already embedded in concrete at both sides. Thus it is possible that each respective subsequent section of the slit wall will be already concreted at a moment at which the concrete of the preceding continuous angular profiles 6. Finally it is stated that the steel profile and/or the'steel reinforced concrete profile each can consist of sections arranged one behind the other with regard to the vertical direction.
