SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 365,408, dated June 28, 1887.
Application tiled April 19,1887. Serial No. 235,410. (No model.)
. To all whom it may concern.-
Be itknown that I, J OHN RODENBERGER, a
citizen of the United States, residing nearthe referred to and claimed.
Referring to the accompanying drawing, the figure is a side elevation.
To the fluke or boot 7 is secured a bolt, 3, the lower end of which is formed into ajournal for the reception of the head 4., that has attached to it rearWardly-extending arms-2 2,
whichiserve as. a journal for the bearing6 of the concave gage or covering wheel 1. The head ihas also attached to it the spring-scraper 5, that projects rcarwardly, and its end rests normally on the periphery of the wheel,thereby scraping and freeing it from adhering matter. The head 4 is further provided with a set-screw, B, whereby the gage-wheel is rendered adjustable and the depth of penetration of the fluke graduated.
I claim- In a graindrill attachment, the combination, with the fluke 7, of bolt 3, adjustable head 4, carrying arms 2 2, wheel 1, and scraper 5, substantially as shown and described.
