Be it known that I, PETER BOYLE, of Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new and Improved Holder for Tablets and Pencils, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description. The object of my invention is to provide a new and improved tablet or pad and, pencil holder, which caube fastened on the left. arm, so that the pad or tablet-and pencil are at all times very'handy,and cannot be misplaced or lost.

The invention consists of the construction of parts, substantially ashereinafter set forth, and pointed out in the claims.

Reference is to behad to the accompanyingdrawings, forming a part of this specification, in which similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both the-figures.

Figure 1 is a face View of my improved tablet and pencilholder, showing it applied. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the same on the 'linew m, Fig. 1.

Having thus fully described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- I 1. A tabletand pencil holder formed of two plates united by a strip, which is bent to form a pencil-holding loop, substantially as herein shown and described.
