Be it known that I, JOHN V. BECKER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented certain new and usefulV Improvements in Separatore or Sitting Apparatus for Milling Purposes, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in bolting-machines for iiourniills or wherever separating or sifting is desired.
The invention will iirst be described, and then pointed out in the claim.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure lis a plan or horizontal view of the sieve, frame, and moving mechanism. Fig. 2 is a length wise vertical section of the same. Fig. 3 is a side elevation of the same. Fig. fi is an end elevation. Fig. 5is a transverse section illustrating the manner of supporting the loose sieve by the supporting and vibrating frame.
A represents the sieve placed closely wit-hin the frame, so as to be readilyremovable whenever desired. B represents the frame for supporting the sieve. Suflieient space is left between the sieve and its supporting-frame to allow the sieve free play lengthwise, sidewise, or bot-h, if desired. The sieve may slide upon ways b lformed in the frame, as shown in Figs. 2 and 5, or any other suitable means for the purpose. C is a box with drawer for receiving material sifted. D are bearings supportingamotionplate and the shaft therefor; E, bearings supporting main shaft; F, part of frame to which bearings are fastened. G is the main frame of the machine.
