Claims (1)

18. IN A KNITTING MACHINE HAVING A CIRCLE OF JACKS AND MEANS FOR SELECTING JACKS OF SAID CIRCLE; MEANS FOR NORMALLY RAISING A SELECTED JACK TO A PREDETERMINED HEIGHT; AND MEANS FOR AUTOMATICALLY DISENGAGING SAID JACK FROM SAID JACK-RAISING MEANS AT A HEIGHT BELOW SAID PREDETERMINED HEIGHT TO ARREST THE RAISING MOVEMENT OF SAID JACK.
