My invention consists of a triangle having the margins f gured with different scales. for different purposes, and having another triangle, a protractor, several irregular curves, circles, ovals, and other figures cut in it within the margins, and thereby enabling one in- 5 st rument to serve the purposes of many single instru ments separately made,as hereinafter fully deseribed.

Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawingftorming part of this specification, in which the figure represents my improved drawing instrument in plan view.

I make a triangle, a, preferably of forty-five degrees and ninety degrees, and of approved size. preferably so that a one-foot scale. b, may be made on the margin of one side. preferably the long one, and I mark said scale thereon, and mark other scales, as c d, for draftsmen, architects. and others, on the other margins, making six different scales, if desired, or repeating some for convenience, if preferred, and within the margins of the triangle a I cut out sufficient material to form a smaller r f. g. h, 17, and It, and also the he trt-shaped instruments.
