The said top piece is provided with a mirror and receptacle for toilet articles, and this serves The Washstand, when in use, hangs at one end of the case, has a shelf extending at right angles to the said end, to support a basin, and is also provided with a mirror. The ease is provided with two doors at its t front, hinged to the ends of the case, so that when turned at right angles thereto they will p receive the ends oi" the bedframe between them, and thus form head and foot boards for the said frame, which, when in its horizontal position, engages the said doors, fastening them at the ends of the said bed-frame.

The case, which is usually intended to stand with its back against a Wall, consists of two end pieces, a, connected at the baci; by longitudinal pieces b, and provided with a hinged top or cover, c, which may rest in a horizontal position on the tops of the said end pieces, as shown in Figs. 2 and 4, or may be turned up to lean against the Wall, as shown in Figs. l and 3. The said end pieces and top are made frame d, pivoted at 2, near the lower end and front portion of the said end pieces, so that it may be turned up vertically within the case, as shown in Figs. 2 and et, or may be turned to a horizontal position, projecting out from the lower portion of the case, as shown in Figs. 1 and 3, it being provided near its upper or outer side with legs e, pivoted to it, and connected with the end pieces, a, of the case by links f, so asvto fold the said legs upon the ends of the bed-frame when the latter is turned up to its vertical position.

The'bed-franie is preferably provided with bands 7L, to keep the bedding B (see Fig. 4) in place when the frame is folded in its vertical position. The bed-inolosing case is provided at its front with doors i, hinged to the end pieces, a, as shown at 3, the said doors, when f closed, concealing the bed-frame, as shown at one'side of Fig. 2. The said doors, when turned at right angles to the casing, or in line? .inner sides of the door t', as best shown in Fig. 5, thus keeping the said doors close to the end ofthe bed-frame d, to form high head and foot boards.

One of the doors mths one shown as closed in Fig. 2is provided with a finger, n, and the other door is provided With a latch, n, operated by a knob, of, to engage a lip, n3, at the bottom of the bed-frame d, to fasten the doors 5 when closed, and the bed-frame is provided with a spring-catch, n4, to engage the end piece, ,When the bed-frame is turned to its vertical position.

The top or cover c of the oase is provided with a mirror, M, and with aboX, Bf, to contain toilet articles, which may be conveniently used when the bed-frame is in its vertical position and the doors z' are closed. The top longitudinal piece, b, of the frame is provided I5 with a gniderod, o, engaged by loop or staple p (see Fig. 4`) in the sliding piece o, the said piece 1^ having hinged to it at a toilet-stand, s, to be drawn out and hang down at the end of the oase, as shown in Fig. 4, and having a folding shelf, s, hinged at to turn to ahorizontal position to support a basin.

When the washstand is not in use, it may be slid into the top of the case by means of the loop or staple p on the rod o, the said loop or staple supporting one end of the stand, While the other rests upon the edge of the side or end pieee, ce, of the case.

The portion of the stand s above the shelf s is provided with a mirror, M', as indicatedin dotted lines, Fig. 3. The toilet-stand s s is provided with a handle, t, by which it may be drawn out from the position shown in Fig. l and placed in the position shown in Fig. 4 Without lifting the top c of the case.

The back frame, b, of the case has pivoted upon it one or more arms, u, connected by a lilik, v, which may be turned, as shown in full lines, Fig. 4, to project beyond the end of the oase and form a towel-rack, or may be folded back of the case, as shown in Fig. 3 and in 4o dotted lines, Fig. 4, when not in use. One of the arms u, which is preferably made elastic, v is offset to form a shoulder, as shown at 7, which, by its engagement with the end of the ease, Will keep the arms in a horizontal position.

I claim- 1. The pivoted bed-frame and inclosing-case therefor, combined with the folding washstand composed of the slide-piece r, portion s, hinged 5o thereto, and the shelf s', hinged to'said portion s, the whole'constructed to be slid into the top of the case when not in use and to hang at the side of the ease when in use, substantially as shown and described.

2. The pivoted bed, the folding Wash-stand, and inclosing-case thereforcombined'with the towel-rack consisting of the pivoted arms u, provided with a shoulder or catch, 7, VJt`open gage the corner of the case, `whereby it may 6o be held in position for use, substantially as described.
