1 0 all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GILBERT 'LA RocK, of Adams, in the county of J eiferson and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved \Vagon-Jack for Raising Wheels for Oiling; and I do hereby declare that the fQ1 lowing is a fulland exact description of the same, reference being had to annexed drawing, in which the figure is a sectional view of my improved wagon-jack. v
The nature of my invent-ion is set forth as follows: The lifting-bar is constructed with a groove at A, which is fitted to the'end of the lever, (marked B, to which is attached at O a toggle-joint of iron,which is worked by means groove at A, the togglejoint is caused to move simultaneously and slide the key or wedge under the bottom of the fulcrumed lifting-bar at H (which is cut on a bevel to suit the key) and raise the stepped lifting-bar car- .rying the wheel to be oiled.
Vhat. I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by'Letters Patent, is-
The lever. B, provided with the togglejoint D E and wedge F, in combination with the lifting-bar grooved at A, to act as a fulcrum,
