` Be it knownthat I, I. N. MATLICK, a citiin the county of Knox and State of Missouri, have invented certain new and useful Improvements `in Elevators and Gonveyers, and I do declare the i following to -be` a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others Skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use thesame, reference being had to the accompanying` i parts, as will hereinafter be fully described and specically claimed. y

Referring by letter to the accompanying drawings, O designates a frame for eld use, the uprights ofwhich are mounted on runners o, and are connected by Suitable girders and braces, as shown, of dimensions of a size suitable to permit the loaded wagon to be driven under it.

C designates a movable pulley, around which the rope connected at t, passes, thence up over the pulley m, and along the carrier-frame Ato the pulley E at its `upper end, over this pulleyE, and down to the pulley S, wherethe hoisting-,power is attached. The power appliedwill first raise the weight or load perpendicularly to the point t, and it will move the carrier B along the carrier-frame or elevator-way `to its upper end at E, where the loadwill be detached, the power released, and the carrier will run back to place at the lower end of the carrier-frame. By the employment of the movable pulley C the force of the power is doubled.

When it is desired to use the apparatus in a barn or building, the frame O should be dispensed with and the carrier-frame and carrier erected therein in any suitable manner that `will preserve the incline oi' the carrier-frame.

Having thus fully described my invention,

what I claim, and desire to secure `by Letters l. The incline carrier-frame A, having the pulley E `at its upper end, and the bails p, for suspending it, in combination with the carrier B, having hanger B', wheelsZ Z, and pulley m, and the ropes w x w and i t', and pulleys G and S, substantially as Specified.
