As is apparent from the previous description, the legs or more specifically the part thereof engageable with the container are axially yieldable. What is claimed as new and desired to be secured by Letters Patent, is:
1. In combination with a gaseous fuel burning stove having a fuel storage container provided with a burner burner, a cooking vessel support secured to said burner above said container, a plurality of rigid legs each secured at one end to said support and, having an opposite end extending toward the top of said fuel storage container, and elastic sleeves secured to and protruding axially beyond said opposite end of said legs into frictional engageof said fuel storage container to frictionally limit rotational movement of said burner relative to said socket.
2. In a gaseousfuel burning stove including a fuel storage container having a burner mounting socket at the opposite extremity thereof, said socket housing a valve normally biased toward a closed position, a burner thread. ingly secured in substantially sealed engagement within said socket maintaining said valve in an open position to permit the flow of fuel therethrough from said container to said burner, and a cooking vessel support secured to said burner above said container, the improvement including a safety device for impeding the rotational movement of said burner out of sealed engagement withsaid socket comprising, in combination, rigid legs fixedly joined at one end to said support and having an opposite end depending therefrom toward the top of said fuel storage container, and elastic sleeves fitted upon and protruding axially beyond said opposite end of each of said legs, each protruding sleeve portion adapted to frictionally engage with the top of said fuel storage container'to limit rotational movement therebetween.
