SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 279,588, dated June 19, 1883.

The invention will first be described, and
then pointed out specifically in the claim.
inward bellows folds, but having its bottom corners on each side turned inwardly, as shown, 25 forming two corners on each side, substantially as in the former case. The paste is applied along the inner edge of the turned-in corners and of the bottom of the tube, as represented by the dotted waved lines 0. The tube is then 0 pasted together, and when open the bottom of the bag appears as in Fig. 5. The folding in wardly and pasting the corners prevents any of the material that maybe put in the bag from getting under the corners and spoiling the 3 5 shape of the bottom of the bag.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent,
A paper bag having two corners on each side 40 of its bottom turned inwardly and pasted to gether, substantially as-shown and described.
