SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 275,697, dated April 10, 1883. Application filed March 9, 1883. (No model.)
To all whom 'it may concern:
' Be itknowu that we, J oHN S. PILGEE and GEORGE H. KNIGHT, both of Cincinnati, Hamilton county, Ohio, have jointly invented a new and useful Improvement in Oanteens, of which the following is a specification.
Our invention relates to an improvement in those eanteens or lunch-buckets which have a screw thread ed neck and a correspondingly screw-threaded cap or lid 5 and our improvement consists in an attachment or adjunct for such canteens that consists of a cup having an out-turned marginal iiange orv brim capable of ready engagement within or disengagement from the threaded interior of the separated cap.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents our cup in place on the interior of the cap and within the canister, the latter being shown in section. Fig. 2 shows the cap and the cup detached. Figs. 3 and 4 represent modifications of the cup-iiange.
