  • One of the objects of this invention is to overcome this disadvantage by providing a machine which is capable of handling spools from which the yarn cannot unwind during movement of the spool to its operating station without any danger of excessive tensioning of a length of yarn extending from the spool and held by a clamping or holding means of the above type.
