CONSTRUCTIONVOF HOUSES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 274,315, dated March 20, 1883.

Be it known that LLEVI HAAs, a citizen of the .United States, residing at Chester, in the county of Delaware and State of Pennsylvania,
have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Construction of Houses, of which the following is aspecification, reference being had 7 therein to the accompanying drawing.

Besides, by the use of slate for cornices, instead of seasonedlumber, Iobtain a handsomer and more durable structure and greatly economize the cost of construction.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
In the construction of houses, the slate cor-V nices G, projected from the eaves of the roof, substantially as shown, and for the purpose described.
