United States atent flice 2,697,235 Patented Dec. 21, 1954 This invention relates to new and useful improvements in methods of boat construction and the primary ob ect Another important object of the present invention is to provide a method of constructing boats that Will produce a stronger boat by bracing toward the keel as the boat is built.
Another feature of the present invention is to provide a method of boat construction that avoids the necessity of steaming planking or strips as the same are applied, therefore resulting in a more water-tight boat.
A further object of the present invention is to provide a method of boat construction wherein the gunwale is constructed prior to the application of the keel avoiding the necessity of having tapered planking or strips from back and rear in order to get the gunwale in the desired height or position.
A still further aim of the present invention is to provide a method of constructing a boat that is extremely simple and practical and which avoids the costly process frequently followed in constructing boats.
