Being aware of the possibilities of modifications in the various diapers disclosed and their association with a diaper cover of the type shown, all Without departing from the fundamental principles of my invention, it is to be understood that the invention is not to be limited in any manner except in accordance with the appended claims.
What is clamied is:
1. A diaper of absorbent material having the shape of an isosceles trapezoid and foruse with a diaper cover made from a sheet of material having the shape of an isosceles trapezoid and being provided with permanently attached cross holding straps at itsends, said diaper at its corners being provided with T-shaped cuts with the leg portion of each cut extending inwardly from the side yedge of the diaper sothat the diaper can be parted along the leg portion and inserted beneath a strap and thereby cause the strap to extend through the cross portion of the T-shaped cut.
2. A diaper comprisinga single sheet of absorbent material free of folding, said sheet having four corners and being provided with a slit at each corner which extends inwardly from an edge and then laterally so there will be such configuration that a part of the diaper material adjacent an edge can beinserted beneath a holding strap of a diaper cover whereby the diaper will be held from slippage relative to the cover yet substantially all the length of the strap equal to the width of the diaper will be covered by diaper material.
