This invention relates to a cleaner for Venetian blind slats.
An object of this invention is to provide a cleaner in the form of a brush head adapted for connection with a vacuum cleaner for cleaning opposite sides of a Venetian blind slat.
Another object of this invention is to provide an improved. suction head which includes a pair of brushes formed with longtiudinal slots so that air may be drawn through the slots with dust or dirt which is picked up by the suction head.
A further object of this invention is to provide an improved suction head wherein the brush members are readily removable for cleaning, replacement or the like.
A further object of this invention is to provide a suction head for attachment to a vacuum cleaner including an opposed pair of brushes, the head being of simple construction so that it can be produced at relatively small cost.
With the above and other objects in view, my invention consists in the arrangement, combination and details of construction disclosed in the drawings and specification, and, then more particularly pointed out in the appended claim.

Referring to the drawing, the numeral l0 designates generally a suction head which is formed of an elongated body ll provided with a transverse slot l2 within which a Venetian blind slat is adapted to loosely engage. The body II is provided with a pair of openings l3 extending lengthwise of each arm ll thereof and opening inwardly. The openings I3 extend rearwardly and communicate with the interior 15 of a nipple l6 which extendsv from the rear of the body II. The nipple I6 is adapted to be connected in a conventional manner to the flexible hose of a vacuum cleaner.
A pair of brush members generally designated as H are removably mounted in lengthwise extending channels l8 formed in the arms [4, and each brush member i1 is formed of an elongated back l9 which is provided with a longitudinally extending slot 20. A pair of bristle rows 2| are disposed on each side of the slot or opening 20, and the brushes are disposed with the bristles in 2 confronting position for engagement on the oppo site sides ofa Venetian blind slat.
The longitudinal opening 29 in each brush provides for pulling dust or dirt through the brush back 19 as the brushes are moved lengthwise of a slat.

The dust or dirt removed by the bristles of the brushes will be drawn through the head 10 f into the collector of the vacuum cleaner. This device may be made out of any suitablematerial and can be produced as an attachment for vacuum cleaners of various types.
What is claimed is:
A Venetian blind, slat cleaner comprising a head member formed of a body, a pair of parallel arms extending from one end of said body,
a coupling nipple extending from the other end:
