The header 21 is usedl at the top of the door opening but the lower header, adjacent Stringer I9, and the studding extending from said adjacent Stringer I9 to the lower plate, is eliminated. In fabricating or manufacturing theI structure, the parts are continuously assembled on a suitable conveyor, glued, and the glue welded by well-known glue welding means, so that the entire structure is easily and quickly assembled and permanently glue welded together into anv extremely strong wall. The grooves 23 take care o f any glue which may be squeezed from between the adjacent surfaces of the vertically extending studding members and stud blocks, so that the squeezed-fout glue will not run over substantial areas of therparts or become smeared thereon. It 'isalso to be-.understood that the Structure may be coated, dipped, orv otherwise 1 treated with termite or waterproof preservatives,
or other suitable preservatives, after said Structure has been fabricated. Many ofthe pieces, such as the studding blocks 20, may bereut from low grade lumber which is relatively inexpensive, so that the material costs'are'low. The stringers may also be cut fromlow grade lumber and spliced, with the splices glue welded. By using vthis method, knots and other defects of thelow grade lumber maybe cut out sothat rthe finished wall structure is formed ofy clear lumber. Hence, clear lumber is provided in ,continuousstrips andthe sections may be run out-in considerable lengths. The sections maybe as long desired.

The backing board 35 may be glue welded to the top and bottom plates, as well asto the stringers 21-v and re walls 24, which are-also suitably notched to receive said backing board. In installing the blind stop, one flange 53 is received in a groove provided therefor in the outer edge of the jams, and the other flange 53 is snugly received in a groove provided therefor at the inner side of the stucco molding 45. The closed side of the U-shaped portion 53 of theblind stop extends inwardly of the jams and functions in the usual manner.
We claim:
l. A wall construction, comprising: a. pair of longitudinally extending plates spaced apart and parallel with each other; a plurality of longitudinally extending, substantially parallel stringers spaced apart from each other and from the plates; a plurality of transversely extending substantially parallel studding members spaced apart longitudinally relative to the plates, each studding member comprising stud blocks extending between the stringers and between the plates and adjacent stringers, and a studding piece on each side of said blocks extending continuously between said plates; and means for securing the various parts together.

A wall construction, comprising: a pair of longitudinally extending plates spaced apart and parallel with each other; a plurality of longitudinally extending, substantially parallel stringers spaced apart from each other and from the plates; a plurality of transversely extending sub- 'fis istantially- 'parallel '.stirdrlingk .members- 'spaced f 'apartelongitudinally-relative,tofthe platemeach studdingrniember comprising, studsblocksziextend- .fing between thestringersandbetweenfthe plates andadjaeent stringere; and astuddingiipieceion 'reachffside :of said blocks extending vcontinuously fbetweenrsaid plates',:'-the 'variousA 'parts `being-fse- -"cureditcgetl'ier.bye-glue.,V

A` wall-construction, comprising: `a pa-irQof longitudinally extending plates spaced apart and parallel with each other; a plurality of longitudinally extending, substantially parallel stringcrs spaced apart from each other and from the plates; a plurality of transversely extending substantially parallel studding members spaced apart longitudinally relative to the plates, each studding member comprising stud blocks extending between the stringers and between the plates and adjacent stringers, and a studding piece on each side of said blocks extending continuously beween said plates, the various parts being secured together by glue; and an upper header extending between at least a pair of studdings separated sufficiently to provide an enlarged opening, said header being of substantial Width and lying between and glued to a pair of stringers.
6. The invention defined by claim 5, wherein there is a bottom header of substantial width at the bottom of said opening and extending at least between said pair of studdings.

A frame structure of the character described, comprising: a pair of longitudinally extending plates spaced apart and parallel with each other; a plurality of longitudinally extending, substantially parallel stringers spaced apart from each other and from the plates; a plurality of transversely extending substantially parallel studding members spaced apart longitudinally relative to the plates, including at least one end stud member, each studding member comprising stud blocks extending between the stringers and between the plates and adjacent stringers. and
