v Subject of the present invention is a mounting for wall forms by means of which it is possible to cast simultaneously and with the highest desirable precision all inner and outer walls of a building, at the same time obtaining the openings for the doors and windows, as well as the ducts for the layout of conduits and cables for the home and office appliances.
The mounting comprises a double frame for the panels destined to constitute the wall form sides for casting the concrete. Suitably designed devices and clamps or joints allow to adapt the mounting to the characteristic of the building and to the plan of the roomsunder construction, aswell as to conform the dimensions of the wall form to those of the walls to be built.
The proposed mounting, therefore, may be used for the construction of'buildingshaving any desired layout, and may successively be employed for different structures. Hence the initially small depreciation charges are readily accounted for. In. fact, as soon as the casting operation has been performed to a desired height of the wall, corresponding to that of the wall form, the panels already used are stripped by a quick and simple operation and lifted to constitute the new wall form, limiting the upper portion of the same wall.
The proposed mounting is preferably made of metal such as light-weight, tough metals in order to reduce the weight of the assembly and have parts that can be easily manipulated.
Some particular joining devices or sleeves allow to lock the panels forming the walls of the form at different heights while the wall is built.
It is to be noted that the supporting structure is also utilized for anchoring the scafiolds which are fastened on the supporting frame by means of; suitably mounted brackets which may be lifted, as: the building of the wall progresses.

The proposed assembly comprises a supporting frame constituted by uprights I, vI preferably having a circular section arranged in a double row on each side, respectively, of the space of the wallto be erected, which space is to be limited by the wall form. The uprights are anchored to the ground ina particular way. The inner row I is. mounted on a base 2 constituted by a sill having an angular cross-section and placed on the ground so as to flank the walls to be erected. On base 2, at equal distances, are distributed holes 3 utilized as seats of cleats apt to anchor base 2 to the ground. These sills forming base 2 may be of difi'erent lengths and are joined longitudinally by links made of plates and bolts, while right-angle joints are obtained by means of clamps.
On base 2 are fixed a first set of seats forming supports or angle pieces 4 for supporting uprights I, at a predetermined distance, dependent on the dimensions of the walls to be built, on those of the resistant section of the assembly, and further, on the stresses which it has to stand.
Numeral 5 indicates a second set of seats forming supports for the outer uprights l.
The internalwuprights l and the external. uprights I. are transversely stifienedby spreaders I and longitudinally by reinforcing ties l. The rigid connection of said structure is obtained by means of particular coupling clamps (which shall be discussed in detail later on) and which allow to lock the uprights and cross members 6 and 1 in a. predetermined arrangement and to ensure the stability of the structure, while it is simple to strip the partsin order to use the supporting? or t with cross members 6' are indicated by: 8,:
' I3 can be seen in Fig. 4, while its section can be seen from the detail in Fig. 10; the holding means I3 is shaped as a hollow semi-cylinder provided with two lateral wings I4 having two slots for the shanks of two screws I5, which when parts I 3' and I 3" are assembled by these screws engage threads in holding means I 3.
The connection between brackets II-I2 and sleeves I3-is sothat the brackets are adjustable in length in order to adapt the spacing between panels facing one another to the desired wall thickness. v
In assembling, the two sections I 3' I3 of sleeve I3, are joined by bringing piece I3 in close contact with the upright. Screws I are loosened so that their shanks protrude beyond the coupling surface (Fig. The section I3" is then placed against upright I just above I3 and permitted to slide down till the slots in I 4 engage the shanks of screws I5; thereafter, screws are tightened to lock sleeve I3 to one of posts I or I. The particular shape of sleeve I3 has the advantage of allowing a quick assembly and disassembly of the parts, since screws I 5 need not be completely unscrewed from their seat, but just loosened, so as to disengage section I3" from section I3. This is an important advantage; it also prevents the screws from getting lost which could easily happen if they were to be completely unscrewed durin the stripping.
Brackets II and I2 extend through holes provided in piece I3. Locking screws I6 (Fig. 4) are provided to fix the position of the brackets l I and I2 in piece I3 to change the effective length of the brackets in order to realize the desired spacing between opposingpanels I9. I, Brackets II are constituted by a rod, bent at right angles and having a stop I'I near its end II. Panels I 0 are made of soft steel sheets, stiffened by embossed ribs I0 and reinforced with a perimetral edge I 8,with holes I9. In order to form a wall of the desired length and of constant height, a plurality of panels In of different lengths are assembled by bolts extending through holes I9 in edges I8 (see Figs. 6 and 7). The joint is completed by securing to the joint zone of I8, a strip 20, fastened to I8 by bolts 2 I.
The same holes I9 are used for supportin the panels I 0 through brackets II, II, their upper ends protruding through holes I9 until arrested by stops II. Panel I 0 is thereby supported on bracket II; at its lower end, bracket I2 provides the support. Its end I2 however, is bent'back so as to constitute a hook which engages a hole I9 in the lower edge I8 of panel "1..
The assembly of the form proposed by this invention is as follows:
Having previously laid out on the ground the plan for the walls with the foundations already filled and the ground thoroughly leveled, the'sup-' porting frame is erected. To this effect, base 2 is laid out to correspond with the inner side of the room wall to be built and anchored to the groundalong the perimeter of the wall. by means 4 of cleats or spikes. Having then established, in accordance with the dimensions of the room, the spacing of uprights I, angle pieces 4 are fastened to base 2 and locked in place by means of set screws 23. Angle piece 4, carrying a, seat for the upright I, has a triangular form (Fig. 5) and is fastened with its shorter side to the base 2, and with its other side to a cross-tie 24, which crosses perpendicularly the wall near'the ground and connects the inner upright I with the outer upright I. Tie 24 is anchored to the ground at its outer end by a spike 25. The seat forming support 5 of upright I is secured to tie 24. Looking screws 5' look 5 to the tie 24 at the desired distance from angle piece I. Above supports 4 and 5 are provided, clamps 26 holding uprights I and I' in their respective supports 4 and 5. Having thus assembled the supporting base, uprights I are fitted into angle pieces 4, and their lower ends held by tightening the-screws on clamps 26; in the same way uprights'Il are inserted .into supports 5 and locked therein. I The wall is shown by numeral 2?. An opening, for instance, for a door, as indicated in Fig. l, is secured by providing a corresponding pattern 28. To form the corner of a wall, base 2 is connected by splicing clamp28 to an adjacent portion 2 laid out perpendicularly to the base 2. Clamps 28' assure a rigid right-angle connection of the two base portions 2 and.2' at their junction.
Having assembled uprights I and I, they are counterbraced by means of cross members Ii, fastened to the uprights I and I' by two-section coupling members which are locked by tightening bolts 8. Thus the coupling member 8 is clamped around the uprights remaining fixed at a desired height. One of the sections of couplingmember 8 is provided with a hole for the cross members 6, and with a locking screw, a sleeve 9 canbe locked to cross member 6 in any desired position by set screw 9'. Sleeve 9 carries a lateral extension in which is machined the hole, for the passage of the transverse cross memberl, locked to sleeve 9 by screw 29.
Thus a sturdy me al assembly is obtained, which surrounds all the Wa ls to be built. This cage-sha ed structure is used to support and lift the form for casting the concrete as well as to carry the scaffolds. The form is assembled, as mentioned already, by mounting supports I3 on the uprights and fixing them at the desired height, engaging brackets II and I 2 in I3, and. securing panels II! to these brackets. The sides of panels I0 constitute the form for casting.

window openings, the concrete is poured. As soon as the casting has been completed u to the height of the prearranged form, usualy the n xt day, one can proceed to lift the panels. By loosening screws I5, holding means I3 and I3 are disengaged; sleeve I3 is stripped ed the upright with brackets II- and I2,-already disen ag d from the panels. The panels III are lifted to the necessary height by means of pulley 39 (Fig. 3), that can be easi y mounted on cross members 6 where they are fixed in the already known way by securing to the uprights the newposition to which supports I3 with brackets II and I2 have been move I It is further to be noted that, as already pointed. out, the supporting frame is used also to carry the scaffolds which are put in serviceafter the first concrete. belt has been cast and raised by means of .a. pulley and anchored to the upper,

These scaffoldsare constituted by'a single boardiassembly 32 (Fig. 3)., resting on brackets 33 fastened to posts by means of clamps provided with clamping bolts. The bracket is supported onstrut 34 which is anchored. at its lower end 1011 through tie 35,. on which strut 34 acts with a shearing stress. The through tie or anchoring rod "35 crosses wall 21 and is carried on posts I and l' extending through holes 36 provided for this purpose. During the concrete setting, care should be taken by slightly moving the rod, that the concrete does not adhere to the sides of 35, in order that it can be easily extracted when the setting is completed.
Rod 35 is provided :to firmly anchor the posts to the wall, while the wall is being built, and crossmembers 6 and 1 are removed and replaced at hi her positions. These rods are distributed in height about one every two casting heights.
It is evident that the form. dimensions and constructive details of the present invention may vary according to necessities'without exceeding the scope of he present invention.
The holes for the assage of the rods can be re laced by s ecia sleeves, provided with la e al extensions. The extens ons form the seat for rod ilocked by set screws or the like.

A mountin for wall formscomnrisin a base adapted to be secured to the round; a first set of seats form n su ports: reads to s c re said sup orts at selected horizonta points to sa d ase: track forming cross ties provided at ground level and secured with one end to said base at spaced points: means for securing the other end of said cross ties to the ground: a se ond set of seats forming supports ada ted to sl de on said cross ties; means to lock said second set of sup orts on said cross ties in selected horizontal positions; two sets of uprights su -ported in detachable manner one in each of said sets of seats holding means arranged on said uprights for vertical ad ustment; means combined with said holding means for rigidly fastening the same in vertically adjusted position wherever desired; and means maintained in said holding means to support a plurality of wall forms from said uprights.
2. A mounting for wall forms comprisin a base adapted to be secured to the ground; a first set-of seats forming supports; means to secure said supports at selected horizontal points to said base; track. forming cross ties provided at ground level and secured with one end to said base at spaced points; means for securing the other end of said cross ties to the round; a second set of seats forming supports adapted to slide on said cross tiesyxm'eans to lock said second set of supports on said cross ties in selected horizontal positions; two sets of uprights supported in detachable manher one in each of said sets of seats; holding means arranged on said uprights for vertical adjustment; means combined with said holding means for rigidly fastening the same in vertically adjusted position, wherever desired, and brackets maintained in said holding means and adapted for adjustment therein in a horizontal direction and adapted to support a plurality of wall forms.
3. A mounting for wall forms comprising a base adapted to be secured to the ground; a first set of seatsiormingsupports; means to secure said supports atselec'ted horizontalpoints to said base; track forming cross ties provided atground level and secured with one end to said base at spaced points; means for securing the other-end ofsaid cross ties 'to the ground; a second setof seats forming supports adapted to slide on said cross ties; means to lock said second set of supportson said cross ties in selected horizontal positions; two sets of uprights supported in detachable manner one in each of said sets of seats; holding means arranged on said uprights for vertical adjustment; generally horizontal bores in said holding means; brackets passing through said horizontal bores; and means for locking said brackets in said bores in selected horizontal positions, said brackets being adapted to support a plurality of wall forms.
'4. A mounting .ior wall .forms constructed in accordance with claim 2, wherein the said holding means comprises complementary clampsections; generally horizontally projected stop elements provided on one of said sections; vertically directed slots provided on the other clamp section whereby the latter can be moved onto said first clamp section to be held-thereon by engagement of said stop elementsin said slots; and means for relatively locking said two clamp sections.
5. A mounting for wall forms constructed accordance with claim 2, wherein the said holding means comprises complementary clamp sec tions; locking screws disposed on one of said sections and projecting horizontally therefrom; vertically directed slots provided on the other of said clamp sections whereby the latter can be moved onto said first clamp section to be held thereon by engagement of the shanks of said screws in said slots and whereby the two clamp sections can be relatively locked by tightening said screws.

A mounting for wall forms constructed in accordance with claim 2, wherein the said holding means comprises complementary clamp sections; generally horizontally projected stop elements provided on one of said sections; vertically di-- rected slots provided on the other clamp section whereby the latter can be moved onto said first clamp section to be held thereon by engagement of said stop elements in said slots; means for relatively locking said two clamp sections; generally horizontal bores in one of said clamp sections 'for slidingly receiving said brackets; and means for locking said brackets in said horizontal bores in selected horizontal positions.

A mounting for wall forms comprisinga substantially L-shaped sill adapted to be secured with one of its faces to the ground; a first set of seats forming supports; mean to secure said sup ports detachably and in any desired horizontal positions to the other face of said sill; track forming cross ties provided at ground level and detachably secured with one end to said sill at spaced points; means i or securing the other end of said cross ties to the ground; a second set of seats forming supports adapted to slide on said cross ties; means to lock said second set of supports on said cross ties in selected horizontal positions; two sets of uprights supported in detachable manner one in each of said sets of seats; and means to support a plurality of Wall forms from said uprights.
8. A mounting for wall forms comprising a substantially L-formed sill adapted to be secured to the ground; a plurality of substantially triangular elements; seats formed on the top of said triangles; track forming cross ties provided at ground level; means for detachably locking said triangles with one side to said sill at selected horizontal points; means for detachably locking one end of said cross ties to another side of said triangles; means for securing the other end of said cross ties to the ground; a second set of seats forming supports adapted to slide on said cross ties; means to lock said second set of supports on said cross ties in selected horizontal positions; two sets of uprights supported in detachable manner one in each of said sets of seats; and means to support a plurality of Wall forms from said uprights.
9. A'mounting for wall forms comprising a base adapted to be secured to the ground; a first set of seats forming supports; means to secure said sup? ports at selected horizontal points to saidbase; track forming cross ties provided at ground level and secured with one end to said base at spaced points; means for securing the other end of said cross ties to the ground; a second set of seats forming supports adapted to slide on said cross ties; means to lock said second set of supports on said cross ties in selected horizontal positions; two sets of uprights supported .in detachable manner one in each of said sets of seats; holding means arranged on said uprights for vertical adjustment; brackets having a plurality of shank forming portions disposed at a relative angle; generally horizontal bores provided in said holding means and adapted to receive one of said shank portions; and a plurality of Wall forms provided with apertured marginal flanges, the apertures being adapted to receive another of said shank portions, whereby said wall forms are detachably maintained on said brackets.
10. A mounting for Wall forms comprising a base adapted to be secured to the ground; a first set of seats forming supports; mean to secure said supports at selected horizontal points to said base; track forming cross ties provided at ground level and secured with one end to said base at spaced points; means for securing the other end of said cross ties to the ground; a second set of seats forming supports adapted to slide on said cross ties; means to lock said second set of supports on said cross tie in selected horizontal positions; two sets of uprights supported in detachable manner one in each of said sets of seats; means to support a plurality of wall forms from said uprights; coupling members adapted to be secured to said uprights at selected vertical points; spreaders adapted to be supported by said coupling members; slides disposed on said spreaders and provided with bores; reinforcing ties passing through said bores and extending substantially parallel to said sets of uprights; and means for locking said reinforcing ties in said bores in predetermined horizontal positions.
11. A mounting for wall forms comprising a base adapted to be secured to the ground; a first set of seats forming supports; means to secure said supports at selected horizontal points to said base; track forming crossties provided at ground level and secured with one end to saidbase at spaced points; means for securing the other end of said cross ties to the ground; a second set of seats forming supports adapted to slide on said cross ties; means to lock said second set of supports on said cross ties in selected horizontal positions two sets of uprights supported in detachable manner one in each of said sets of seats; means to support a plurality of Wall forms from said uprights; coupling members adapted to be secured to said uprights at selected vertical points; bores provided in said coupling members; spreaders passing through said bores; and means for locking said spreaders in said bores in selected horizontal positions.

A mounting for wall forms comprising a base adapted to be secured to the ground; a-first set of seats forming supports; means to secure said supports at selected horizontal points to said base; track forming cross ties provided at ground level and secured with one end to said base at spaced points; means for securing the other end of said cross ties to the ground; 'a second set of seat forming supports adapted to slide on said cross ties;- means to lock said second set of supports on said cross ties in selected horizontal positions; two sets of uprights supported in detachable manner one in each of said sets of seats; means to support a plurality of wall forms from said uprights; coupling members adapted to be secured to said uprights at selected vertical points; bores provided in said coupling members; spreaders passing through said bores; means for locking said spreaders in said bore in selected horizontal positions; a second set of coupling members slidably disposed on said spreaders; reinforcing ties slidably maintained in said second set of coupling members, said reinforcing ties being oriented at an angle to said spreaders; and means for locking said second set of coupling members and said reinforcing ties in selected horizontal positions.
