In a materials handling pallet, the combination of a top, transversely spaced parallel sheet metal base members disposed horizontally flatwise, sheet metal leg members comprising upwardly diverging legs disposed in longitudibination with a top, of spaced leg units each comprising V-shaped leg members of sheet metal of substantial width having upwardly diverging integral legs, corresponding legs being disposed in alignment, leg top bars welded to the upper ends of corresponding aligned legs of the leg members and fixedly secured to the underside of the top with the leg units in transversely spaced relation, base members fixedly secured to the lower ends of the aligned leg members of the units, and base members of sheet metal of substantial Width disposed horizontally fiatwise and fixedly secured to corresponding leg members of the leg units and in crossed relation to said first named base members.
