2 Claims. 124-27) This invention relates to a game of skill, and

the primary object of the invention is to provide a game device for use with a target having electrical contacts incorporated therein which are adapted to be closed by the prong of a dart propelled at the target by the device.

Another object of the invention is to provide a game device that is attractive, adapted for playing the game indoors or outdoors and which will afford the users thereof considerable enjoyment and entertainment.

With the above and other objects and advantages in view, the invention consists of the novel details of construction, arrangement and combination of parts more fully hereinafter described, claimed and illustrated in the accompanying drawings in which:

Figure 1 is an elevational view of the game device.

Figure 2 shows a glider in use with the game device.

Figure 3 is the same as Figure 1 with the side shaped body I08 having the removable cover 5 it,

having grip H2 and pivoted sight H4.

Mounted for pivotal movement with the body 18 by means of the pin H6 is the projector arm H8 which is provided with an elongated slot m for the pivoting thereof, so that in its forward movement under impulse of the spring i22 secured thereto and to the body the guide pin 524 will slide in the guide slot I28, and the arm will not extend upwardly from its normal position in relation to the body at the top thereof but move forward in a substantially straight line to propel the dart. A second spring i28 secured to the bottom of the arm also adds impetus to the arm and dart.

The arm is provided with a pin 53% which is adapted to be engaged by the hooked end i212 or" the keeper I34 pivoted at I56. A spring ltd retains the keeper I34 in engagement with the pin I30 until it is moved out of engagement therei y means c the cable f fi th re and actuated by the trigger Hi2 pivoted at I44 in the body N33. The cable M9 istrained through the guide eye M5 to prevent the cable from becoming entangled in the spring I28, and a trigger guard Hill is provided for the trigger M2. The barrel 553 of the body is provided with a longitudinal bore 452, having opposed parallel slots I54 which are parallel with the guideway I25 and the dart is positioned in the bore and slots for the propulsion thereof as shown in dotted lines in Fig ures 3 and 4.

A hand grip we is provided adjacent the trigger guard M3 for the handling of the body and the arm 5 58 upon reaching its extended position con tacts the rubber bumper 58.

The projector 566 may also be used to propel a glider 855i and the glider is positioned for the propulsion thereof as shown in Figure 2.

Thus a game device has'been provided that will afford amusement for young and old alike, and may be used for projecting a dart during the course of playing a game or may also be used as a projector for a glider for further enjoyment thereof.

It is believed that the structure of the component parts thereof will be apparent to those skilled in the art, and it is to be understood that changes in the minor details of construction of the various parts may be resorted to provided they fall within the spirit of the invention, and the scope of the appended claims.

Having thus described the invention, What is claimed as new and desired to be secured by Letters Patent is:

l. A game device of the character described comprising a substantially triangular shaped body, a barrel portion on the upper or largest edge of said body, a hand grip on said body for holding said body in projecting position, a projector arm pivoted in said body, a spring secured to said body and said arm for lending impetus thereto, a spring pressed latch engaging said arm to retain it in cocked position, the movement of said latch to'disengage said arm permitting said spring to impel said arm forwardly from its cocked position. to impel a projectile at an object, guide slots in said barrel longitudinally thereof, a guide pin in said arm receivable in said slots, and said arm being provided with an elongated slot at the lower end thereof through which the pivot pin for the arm extends so the projectile engaging portion of the arm is adapted to move in a straight trajectory in its forward movement under impetus of the spring.
