Second, to provide an ironing board of this classhaving retractable supporting braces which arezflushwith the front of the cabinet when closed, `providing a' very smpleandlneat arrangement of the" retractable supports when` the ironingr boardisstored in the cabinet;
Third, to provide an` ironing board of this class;` which is pivotly` mounted intermediate its ends` at a substantial distance from the front ofi the'y cabinet providing. ample working space onzopposite sides of the ironing boardwhen the axisofthe ironing :board is disposed substantially parallel l to; the front: of the" cabinet Fourth,.to providean ironing board andoabinetxof this-classin whichtheironing board supporting member andthe supporting braces `form part ofA the cabinet front in iiush relation with the doors thereof;
Fifth, to provide an ironing vboard ofthis class which is particularly adapted foruse. by either right: on left' handed persons;
Sixth; to provide anironing board of this class which whenV at right angles-to the axis of its supportF provides supporting space intermediate said,` ironingboard' and the cabinetiforclothes being ironed; and;
Seventh, to provide anironing boardand cabinetxr of thisr class-which is very simpleand" eco# nomical in`A construction, eiiicient inoperation andwhich will not readily deteriorate or getout ofi' order.
With these and other objectsin view as will appear hereinafter `my invention consists of certain novel features of construction, combination and arrangement" of parts and portions as will behereinafter describedin detail and particularly set forth in the appended claims, referencebeing had to the accompanying drawings and to the characters of reference thereon forming a part of this application in which:
