SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 249,828, dated November 22, 1881.
Application filed May 14, 1881. (No model.)
To all whom it mag concern Be it known that I, PATRICK J. FLANAGAN, a resident of the city of New Orleans, parish of Orleans, and State of Louisiana, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Belt-Fastenings; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and correct description of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, making a part of this specification.

Having'described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
I. In belt-fastening,a pair of coupling-rods having right-angle sharpened projections c, as described, and for the purpose specified.
2. In combination with aset of links having eyes at the opposite ends thereof, a pair of coupling-rods, each provided with aright-angle sharpened projection, for the purpose set forth.
