An object of the invention is the construction of a novel and efficient device to@ be used by sufferers of piles, hemorrhoids, stulas, pruritis-ani and any rectal soreness intensied by the presentway of cleaning ones self after a bowel evacuation.

` Another object of the invention is the construction of an eicient Vdevice 4which will eliminate a rectal spray depain,` and bleeding, brought on by the rubbing.

A still further object of the invention is the construction of a novel device that can be easily assembled, and operated by the user.

With the foregoing and other objects in view mylinvention comprises certain novelconstructions, combinations, and arrangements of parts as will be hereinafter fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings, and more particularly pointed out in the appended claims.

Referring to the drawings in which the preferred embodiment of my invention is illustrated, I is a rigid hollow yarm substantially curved throughout its length for the purpose hereinafter specied. A fitting 2 extends into the upper end of hollow arm I (Fig. 3) and on the outer end of ttin-g 2 is a rubber bulb 3. A rubber tubing 4 is in the hollow arm I with the inner end of tting 2 extending into said rubber tubing 4.

A comparatively stiff rubber guard 5 is provided; this horizontal guard 5 is open both at its top and bottom, and is substantially U-shape and is provided with an upper saddle edge E and a pominel 1. The guard 5 is provided with parallel lips 8 that ft against the sides of the hood 9 (Fig. 4),

By this connection, the guard 5 is adjustably mounted upon the lower end of hollow arm I. The hood 9 is provided with an elongated slot lI through which spray nozzle I2 eX- tends.. This nozzle I 2 is carried by the lower `end composition, plastic or metal, and is shaped to ordinarily t the contour of the rectum when the user is in a sitting position. By reason of the curved structure of the hollow arm I, the guard 5 is allowed to be placed between the legs of the user, and then the guard is placed back beneath the rectum, with the perforated nozzle I2 beneath the anus. guard 5 upward against the buttocks with one hand, the saddle edge 6 and the pommel 1 fitting the user excellently, and then the user squeezes the bulb with his free hand. The water is forced out of the spray nozzle I2 at the desiredforce of the user in spurts or steady. As the user squeezes the bulb he oscillates the spray, thereby cleaning the entire area from side to side. When pressure is relieved off the bulb 3 it expands, and by repeating pressure on bulb it is easy to force every drop of fluid therefrom. A refill of the bulb from the `vessel `can be accomplished by user should it be necessary. After the wash-off, the rectum can, if desired, be blotted dry with toilet paper. Thus the rectum is treatedgently, cleaned thorf oughly, and to the diseased `recturn a painful operation `is eliminated.

While I have described the preferred embodiment of my invention and illustrated the same in the accompanying drawings, certain `minor changes or alterations may appear to one skilled theextensive manufacture of the same, and I,
