2. In an attachment of the character described,

In an attachment of the character described, a frame having a pair of spaced apart side sections, each of the said side sections having an ate taching claw at the lower front end and a supporting boss at the lower rear end, a'pair of complementary shaft supporting bearings at the up-v per rear end of theframe, a pair of transversely opposed winding spool. supporting spindles mounted at the front upper part of the frame, one of the said spindles being axially retractible, a lever hingedly mounted on the frame and connected with the retractible spindle for selectively retracting the same, the :other of the spindles being rotatably mounted'on the frame, a drive pulleyfixed on the same last mentioned spindle, and means on each shaft supporting bearing for f releasablylocking a supply roll shaft, the said shaft locking means including spring projected yoke members disposed to releasably embrace the supply roll shaft ends.
5. In combinationwith'a ribbon feeding ma,-
chine and anattachment mountedthereon for feeding a duplicate ribbon through the machine,
machine having a frame provided with laterally projecting bearing bosses at one end and slotted bearings at the'otherend, an attachment com prising a frame havingside sections adapted to seat upon the'sides of the perforating machine frame, a pair of curved elements at one end of the, attachment frame disposed to' engage the bosseson the machine, a pair of projections adapted to fit into the bearing slots of the machine, means for supporting a ribbon supply roll transversely at one end of the attachment, and means at the opposite end of;the attachment for supporting a Winding spooltransversely thereon, whereby a ribbon on the attachment can be fed through the perforating machinesimultaneously with the ribbon on the latter.
7. ,An attachment for a ribbon machine of the type having longitudinally disposed seat forming surfaces on, the top and provided with bearing slots spaced transversely of their axis from bossed bearings, comprising a frame having the bottom adapted for seating on the seat forming surfaces of the machine, projections on the frame disposed to seat in the bearing slots,-means on the frame engageable with the bossed bearings to hold the frame against tilting, and bearings at opposite ends of the frame to support shafts of supply and take-uproll's of ribbon to be fed through the machine. I
8. An attachment for a ribbon machine of the type having bearings to support the shafts of spaced apart transverse ribbon supply and takeup rolls disposed for feeding a ribbon under a platen roll below and intermediate the said rolls,
comprising a-frame adapted for seating on the machine, means on the frame engageable with the machine for removablyholding the attachment in operative position, bearing means at one end of the frame for rotatably supporting a slip ply roll parallel with and offset transversely outward with relation to the supply roll of the machine, and bearing means at the opposite end of the frame for rotatably supporting a take-up roll parallel with and transversely inward with relation to thetake-up rollof the machine whereby to feed a duplicate ribbon under the platen roll simultaneously and incontiguous relation with the ribbon of the machine.
9. An attachment for a ribbon machine of the type having the top p ovided with seating surfaces, with bearings thereat for rotatably supporting spaced parallel ribbon supply and takeup rolls disposed: forfeeding a ribbon under a platen roll below the said rolls, comprising a frame adapted for seating on the seating surfaces, means on the frame engageable with the machine bearings for detachably holding the frame in operative position on the machine, bearing means at one end of the frame for rotatably supporting asupply ribbon roll parallel with and offset transversely outward with relation to the supply roll of the machine, and bearing means at the opposite end of the frame for rotatably supporting a take-up r011 parallel with and trans versely inward withrelation to'the take-up roll of the machine whereby to feed a ribbon under theplaten roll simultaneously withthe ribbon on the machine. i
